About Us
Rancho Merced began in 1984 as Passarelli Restoration. Founder Mark Passarelli's love for all things Mercedes, combined with his technical and artistic skills, has established him among the world's premiere authorities on the restoration of classic, pre-1971 Mercedes Benz automobiles.
Schooled in Art, Design and Architecture, Passarelli honed his mechanical skills in the U.S. Navy's Nuclear Submarine program. Following his service he worked in Hollywood and Arizona as a sought after set designer and
special effects artist. Passarelli also created high-end custom furniture and architectural elements for a number of special clients.
A true artist, he has combined all these talents to create a company that is consistently ranked in the top echelon of the world's most respected Mercedes restoration businesses.
